About Us

Your host's Julie & Glen, with their beloved Roxy.

Welcome to Julesy’s BnB official website. We encourage you to explore our site in order to provide you with a full sense of what the Maltese Islands and our bed & breakfast accommodation has on offer.

Guests staying with us can also book a range of tours direct from this website to help in planning the perfect getaway. There is a vast selection of day tours to choose from. All tours available from Julesy’s BnB are inclusive of pick up and return transportation from nearby pick up points just a few minutes walk from our door.  Simply peruse the Tours Menu from the homepage.

Breakfast at Julesy’s BnB is as flexible as it is varied, using the very best seasonal local produce available in Malta. You can expect a wonderful buffet and continental style breakfast as well as home baked pastries, cakes and fresh breads. For the health conscious delicious breakfast parfaits, fresh fruits and yogurts and freshly squeezed juice and bottomless coffee are all included. Julie will also offer some other specialities, so you might want to save a little space for her daily gourmet offerings.  However we understand not all people are breakfast fans so we offer our room booking options both with or without breakfast, so be sure to select which booking option best suits your needs.

Julesy’s BnB location is ideal, being based in the heart of Malta’s historic Three Cities, just across the Grand Harbour from Valletta, Malta’s Capital City. We believe this part of the island is some of Malta’s best. As most of our guests agree, this is the “true” Malta. Here’s a link for our video to give you a better look and feel.

The views from our terrace are stunning, boasting nearly 360 views across the island. History seekers too will be enthralled with no end of archeological, war, and the sheer resilience of the Maltese people dating back as far as Neolithic times. Above all else the culture is warm and friendly, and Malta itself is safe and easy to travel within.

About Your Hosts

Glen (who is Australian born with Maltese heritage) will amaze you with his proud knowledge of Maltese History, and also help you discover some lesser known gems of these beautiful islands. Whether you just want to relax and meander the streets and harbours, visit the island’s wineries, explore the local markets, take a boat cruise, visit the many historical towns and the beautiful city of Valletta, or indeed go scuba diving or play a round of golf, then Glen is at your service to advise you should you require.

Julesy’s BnB is named after Julie (who is also Australian) who previously owned her own restaurant and winery in Australia. Julie is at heart a bit of a kitchen goddess who delights in providing our guests a tailor made scrumptious start to the day. You can be sure to be treated to something special when staying at Julesy’s BnB. Julie encourages guests to let her know in advance of any special dietary requirements upon booking to make sure you are well catered for during your stay.

As guests of Julesy’s BnB, we also welcome you to join us for a gastronomic discovery of some traditional Maltese and Mediterranean cooking lessons in the kitchen. Please be sure to keep a close eye on any upcoming events when booking your holiday accommodation in Malta.

Your hosts Julie and Glen (along with Roxy, our Labrador) will offer you a warm welcome. Roxy the Labrador is very friendly    and loveable, even non dog lovers finally concede to her charms. Together we hope to provide our guests with a holiday experience that will be etched into your memories for many years to come.

About The House

Although some parts of the house, we are told, date back to the 16th Century, most of the house, we can decipher are from the 18th Century. It is a typical Maltese House of Character.  Features include solid Maltese sandstone walls throughout, exposed wooden beams, two authentic Maltese Box Balconies, and a very interesting well that is now our beautiful wine cellar. There is also a magnificent central staircase that takes you up each floor right through to the sunny roof terraces.

The most recent modern upgrade occurred in 2017, which included the addition of a lift, reaching over 4 floors. Both our Lascaris & Zondadari Suites have their own private lift access which is perfect for the less mobile. These Suites also have access from the central grand stairwell.

The Cotoner & Manoel Suites feature their own private Maltese balcony, the rooms are bright, cheerful and elegantly appointed with Maltese artwork from our local art scene.  Walking into these rooms makes you feel instantly happy and relaxed.

By the end of 2018 the final construction of our 5th Guestroom “The Pinto Suite” will be made available. Guests can expect a view from Valletta to Mdina from this room which also has its own private lift access.

We can’t wait to share with you this magical little island and help make your holiday dreams just perfect!

Safe travels.

Julie, Glen and Roxy
