At Julesy’s BnB, there is no need to find a Tourist Information Centre in Malta. We have all available Tourist Information at your disposal. Additionally, we’ve listed almost everything there is to see and do within the drop downs of our Tours page. You can even choose and pre-book any of the 50+ tours and excursions we have available too.
Take advantage of our €25 Airport Pick-Up Service and have our driver meet you in the Arrivals Hall of the airport. This will save you lining up for a taxi/cab and then explaining where it is you need to be. Simply request this service via email, and we will take care of the rest.
Car Hire & Public Buses
Most of our guests make use of the safe and economical public transport available in Malta. Here is the Bus Route & Schedule, along with a helpful map for your reference. You can order your €39 ExplorePlus or €21 Explore Card via this link and have it mailed to our address ahead of your arrival. However, if you wish to hire a car, simply click here for further information.
Scooter & Motorbike Hire
Unfortunately there are no scooter rental companies located close by, however we can arrange a scooter or motorbike delivered directly to us. Rates do vary from €29 to €120 depending on the type you are wanting and the amount of days you require it for. Bear in mind the company is located in Sliema and do offer better pricing for your own pick-up and return to them. Click here for the price list and then email us with your requirements.
There’s plenty of FREE on-street car parking bays, all within a 1-3 minute walk from our front door. Simply park within the white lines.
Ferry to Valletta City
A convenient and efficient ferry service to Valletta city is just a 4-5 minute walk away from Julesy’s BnB, whereby you will be in the capital city in around 12 minutes. The €2.80 return ticket includes the use of the glass outdoor lift (normally €1) taking you right to the top of Valletta city. Here is the link for the timetable. Once in Malta, if you wish to travel to Sliema, there is another ferry service from the other side of Valletta. Here is a link for the Valletta to Sliema timetable. Further information can be obtained here, or simply ask your hosts.
Hop on Hop off Buses
A quick and economical way to see the southern area of Malta is to make use of an open top double decker bus, which can be pre-booked via our Tours page. Departing from Cospicua every 30 minutes for just €20 per person, this 135 minute journey will take you through the following areas:
- Taxien Temples & Hypogeum
- Marsaxlokk Fishing Village
- Blue Grotto
- Hagar Qim Temple Complex
- Sliema Ferries
You simply Hop Off at places of interest to you, and then Hop On the next bus, noting a bus will be at every point every 30 minutes. There are also ‘Hop On Hop Off’ bus tours available for the northern area of Malta as well as on Gozo, the sister island to Malta.
