At Julesy’s BnB we not only provide wonderful homely accommodation,we also offer unique gastronomic experiences that you can incorporate into your holiday.
Our Gastronomic Discovery is held every Tuesday, starting at 11am. Julie will take you through a 3-4 hour cooking lesson with the focus on traditional Maltese and Mediterranean Cooking.
Typical dishes can include Imqarunn il forn (baked pasta in the oven), Ricotta pie, Qarabaghli (Stuffed Marrows with meat), Lampuki pie, Fresh Ricotta Ravioli with local capers and olives, Gnocchi di Semolina with fresh tomato and basil sauce and Gbejna.
After the meal is prepared enjoy this delicious meal in our dining room matched with perfectly selected wines from the wine cellar.
All menus are entirely cooked from scratch from the freshest seasonal ingredients available in Malta. Should you have any allergies or food taste requirements then please ensure you advise us ahead of time.
The course includes:
- One hands-on (3-4 hour) cooking class discovering Maltese cuisine.
- 3 courses inclusive of all fine wines and other beverages, tea and coffee.
- Recipes and apron.
Priced at €190 per person.
Please note courses are only held on Tuesdays, with a minimum attendance of 2 people, and a maximum of 8 attendees.
